This hands-free sensor faucet uses infrared technology to detect when your hands are in range and turns the water on automatically — no handles, no touching, no spreading germs. It works great in both home and commercial bathrooms, and because the water only runs when it detects something in front of it, you'll also cut down on wasted water. The solid brass body and polished gold finish give it a clean, upscale look that holds up over time.

How the Sensor Works

The faucet uses an infrared smart-chip sensor that's set to detect hands within about 4" to 5" from the spout — though you can adjust that range to suit your sink setup. The built-in micro-computer automatically calibrates the detection zone based on the color and shape of your basin, so it stays accurate without needing manual tweaking. The auto shutoff is factory set to 30 seconds, and that's also adjustable if you need a different setting for your space.

Battery Powered and Energy Efficient

The faucet runs on 4 AA alkaline batteries (sold separately) at DC 6V. Thanks to the energy-saving design, the batteries are rated for around 8,000 cycles per month and should last approximately 5 years under normal use with adequate water pressure. A flashing LED indicator lets you know when the power is on, when batteries are running low, and whether the solenoid is functioning correctly — all explained in the included installation guide.

Built to Last and Easy to Maintain

The body is solid brass construction, which means it's resistant to corrosion and wear. Inside, there's a water-resistant solenoid enclosure and a built-in strainer that keeps debris from getting into the solenoid valve. The strainer is easy to remove and clean, so keeping the faucet in good shape doesn't require any special tools or expertise.

Simple Installation

This faucet fits all standard US plumbing and installs in a single hole. It works for new installations or as a retrofit on an existing sink, and it can be mounted on any standard sink surface with a deck thickness up to 1-5/8". Full installation instructions are included in the box.
