Q: We bought a expensive cascade rainfall shower from you, and are experiencing some difficulty identifying the correct size pex fitting for the MIXER VALVE, please, can you help us? The mixer valve has 5 female threaded brass in and outlets... we have used a pair of calipers to measure 3/4" so i've ordered two different 3/4" npt to 1/2 pex brass fittings, which are off by the thickness of the wall of the pipe fitting. So it's obviously innner diameter 3/4 ... we want a outer diameter of 3/4", right? or are these fittings proprietary? 18.5 mm metric? and also, since i am about to hopefully ask a technician these important questions... can we use plastic pex fittings?
